1996 Emmys: B5 receives one nomination 18/07/96

The 1996 Emmy nominations were released this morning and...

B5 received one nomination, for outstanding cinematography. The episode nominated was "Comes The Inquisitor".

The other nominees in that category: Chicago Hope, ER, Murder One, and The X-Files.

For those who like to keep score ... in other SF shows, The X-Files received 8 nominations (including outstanding drama series and outstanding lead actress in a drama for Gillian Anderson), Star Trek: Deep Space 9 received 4 nominations (costumes, hairstyling, makeup, music composition), Star Trek: Voyager received 2 nominations (hairstyling, makeup), and Space: Above and Beyond received 1 nomination (music composition).
